Buy happiness

The extravagant are brethren of the devils, and the devil is ever ungrateful to his Lord.  al-Isra` 17:2
Charity brings peace in life, A poor homeless person could only think of food. A middle-class a salaried person could only think of paying bills. A person with tones of extra cash always thinks of getting a new gadget, expensive cars, and luxury furniture and to get more wealth. Yes, you can find the stupid person who buys gadgets and luxury stuff on the credit card. These are the people you think they are rich. (it is different than being really rich.) The value of money does not depend on the volume but the unfulfilled desires or need one has.  do you know That the device you are reading this book could worth months of basic supply for some?

Change your paradigm Next time when you are tempted to buy new Smartphone, check the price of silver of the month you bought your last expensive phone and check how much the silver price has been appreciated, compare it to the price of your phone now or if you have settled with less expensive car and invested the difference in silver bars how much you might have saved in one year's time.
I am not suggesting you to invest in silver or any such thing, I am only giving you a new perspective to think about. There is nothing wrong with investing or saving money, on the other hand earning Halal is a religious obligation. While your gadgets or furniture will depreciate, your investment might earn you something.   There is another better way; you can deposit the money in BOA (Bank of Akhrat); by giving in charity of course. Even better, invest in charity with compounding effect (Sadaqah Jariyah: ceaseless charity) “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim)
Just remember this. If you are worried or in pain, nothing can please you. Imagine if you have a severe head ache and you are sitting in front of the most expensive home theater and your favorite movie is playing, how much would you enjoy it?
